Meet your teacher
My name is Marie Rohrsted.
My mission is to help you create valuable processes using visual communication, graphic facilitation and process design to ensure your meetings, workshops and projects reach their goals.
I do this by teaching you simple drawing techniques that you can use, whether you hold online meetings and want to spice up PowerPoint presentations with visual elements - or you want to use graphic facilitation when you hold workshops.
What you will learn
After three hours of process design and templates training
- Use posters to structure the facilitation process
- Visualise a process or idea
- Use metaphors to clarify your messages
- Practising visual thinking and getting to the essence of your message
- Design processes to keep everyone engaged and involved
During the course we will go through, among other things:
- Methods to strengthen your facilitation with visual templates and posters
- Expand your icon library + tips for drawing abstract concepts to bring them down to earth
- Tools to communicate processes, goals, strategies and more more precisely
- The key elements of storytelling so your posters support your message
The course is based on learning-by-doing, so you'll quickly become comfortable drawing and applying graphic facilitation in process design and in your role as a facilitator.
During the course, you always get a starter pack of Neuland markers:
- 2 black outliner pens
- 1 shading pen
- 2 coloured markers
- Talkingstrokes pencil case
Target audience
Who is the 'Process design and templates' course for?
This course is suitable for those who want to use visual tools and want a new way of structuring meetings and workshops using posters/flipcharts and process drawings.
This is particularly relevant for:
- Managers and team leaders
- Project managers
- Specialists
- Facilitators
If you have not yet attended the basic course in graphic facilitation, it will be an advantage if you have been introduced to graphic facilitation in some other way first.
Use less power point
Present or teach in a different way and keep the audience engaged
Create a common language
When everyone has the same picture of what is being talked about, there are fewer misunderstandings
Make complex messages understandable
Use simple drawings to convey an otherwise complex message so that everyone can better understand it.
Strengthen your role as a facilitator
Engage your participants in a new way when you hold meetings in your team, project team or department.
Create greater motivation
Using graphic facilitation gives you a better overview and structure, which creates greater engagement and motivation.
Visual messages are better remembered
We perceive messages 60,000x faster than text, and we remember visual messages far better than text alone.
